To support this growth, Kifaah Business Park is seeking an experienced, results-driven Operations Manager to lead its operations and strengthen the customer experience.
Purpose of the Role
The Operations Manager oversees all operational functions of the park, including facilities, recreation venues, staff, safety, maintenance, and relations with independent tenants. The role ensures high service standards, controlled costs, and strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations across all recreation and leisure venues
• Manage staff scheduling, performance, and training for all operational and support teams
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including health and safety compliance
• Develop and enforce SOPs, health and safety, and emergency procedures
• Coordinate with independent tenants and operators on lease terms, service standards, hygiene compliance, and shared-space issues
• Handle customer feedback and complaints, and drive customer experience improvements
• Prepare and monitor the operations budget, controlling costs and supporting revenue growth
• Manage procurement, vendor and maintenance contracts, and inventory
• Oversee security, access control, and crowd management during peak periods
• Support marketing, events, and membership initiatives with the management team
• Prepare regular operational, financial, and performance reports for management
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in operations management, including supervisory experience
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Good budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
• Fluency in Somali and English
Preferred:
• Experience managing a leisure, sports, entertainment, hospitality, or multi-tenant facility
• Knowledge of health and safety standards for recreation facilities
• Experience in vendor and contract management
