SUBJECT: TENDER NOTICE FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 115 CARPENTRY STARTER KITS
- Background
Wamo Relief and Rehabilitation Services (WRRS) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-partisan humanitarian and development organization established in 2004 and legally registered in Somalia. Since its establishment, WRRS has remained committed to supporting vulnerable communities through humanitarian assistance and long-term development initiatives.
In partnership with United Nations agencies, international and national NGOs, local authorities and community structures, WRRS implements programmes across South-Central Somalia in livelihoods, agriculture, health, nutrition, education, WASH, protection and community development. Its interventions are guided by community priorities, inclusive participation and sustainable solutions that strengthen local capacities and improve livelihoods.
- Project Background
Afmadow District in Lower Juba faces persistent socioeconomic and environmental challenges, including climate-related shocks, limited livelihood opportunities, environmental degradation and pressure on natural resources. These constraints affect household income, agricultural productivity and the resilience of vulnerable communities.
In response, WRRS is implementing the Sustainable Development and Resource Management to Secure Livelihoods and Strengthen Vulnerable Communities in Lower Juba, Somalia project. Implemented in collaboration with local authorities and community structures, the project promotes sustainable livelihoods, climate-resilient production and improved management of natural resources.
- Tender Objective
WRRS invites eligible and qualified suppliers to submit competitive bids for the supply and delivery of 115 carpentry starter kits. All kits must meet the technical specifications and quantities outlined in the attached Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Tender Submission Instructions
WRRS invites eligible suppliers with relevant experience in supplying carpentry tools, woodworking equipment, construction tools or similar goods to submit competitive bids.
Quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope or by email and clearly marked: “TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 115 CARPENTRY STARTER KITS – T/CSK/AFM/0002/2026”

Bidders are responsible for ensuring that their quotations are received before the deadline. Late submissions may not be considered
- Mandatory Bid Documentation
Bidders must submit the following:
- Valid company registration certificate or business licence, as applicable.
- Applicable tax compliance documentation.
- Company profile, including physical address and contact details.
- Evidence of relevant previous supply experience, such as contracts, purchase orders or client references.
- Completed, signed and stamped BOQ.
- Product specifications sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the required technical standards.
- Proposed delivery timeframe and quotation validity period.
Failure to meet mandatory requirements may result in disqualification in accordance with WRRS procurement procedures.
